To accommodate different installation heights and illuminance requirements, the UFO high bay LED light series offers lenses with various beam angles, including 45°, 60°, 80°, and 90°. Linear models are lengths from 2 to 4 feet. Achieving precise light control, reducing glare and shadows for softer, more comfortable visual experience. High-strength housing combined with sealed structure provides at least IP65 waterproof and impact resistance. Large area heat sinks effectively reduce the fixture body temperature during operation. High bay lighting wattage is key to balancing lighting brightness and energy costs. While precise calculations require consideration of multiple factors such as illuminance and beam angle, reliable wattage range can still be quickly obtained based on two core: ceiling height and primary application. Generally, the higher the space, the larger the area covered by light, and the more noticeable the light loss. Therefore, higher wattage should be chosen to ensure sufficient brightness and uniformity.

  • 4-6 meter ceiling: For this small warehouses and shops, 50-100W LED high bay lights can provide sufficient illumination.
  • Medium-high ceilings (6-9 meters): This is standard height for most industrial application. 100W-200W is recommended; high luminous flux output ensures bright visibility and worker focus.
  • High ceilings (9-12 meters and above): In such high spaces, high-power lighting fixtures must be used to ensure effective illumination of floor or work surface. 200W-300W+ high bay LED lights with optimized layout can achieve this.

Color Temperature

LEDRHYTHM high bay LED lights offer color temperature range of 1800K-6500K(amber to cool white light). To achieve optimal brightness, visual clarity, and worker focus, we still recommend using 5000K or higher. This requires careful consideration when selecting, or you can opt adjustable color temperature.

  • 5000K–6500K: Cool white light, ideal for large factories, processing workshops, and stadiums. Bright and clear light enhances concentration and productivity.
  • 4000K–5000K: Suitable for warehouses and general workshops, providing clear, even lighting while maintaining visual comfort.
  • 3000K–3500K: Less used, its yellowish light creates a warm atmosphere and is suitable for rest area where comfort is priority.
  • 1800K–2200K: High temp high bay LED lights are highly recommended, very suitable for high temperature industrial areas such as steel mills, metallurgical, or glass factories. Has stronger light penetration in heat, steam, or dust environments.

This means it automatically adapts to 277, 347, or 480V, eliminating concerns about voltage incompatibility. How do LED high bay lighting perform in harsh industrial environments?

Are 200W high bay LED lights sufficient for my project?

For most industrial and commercial projects, 200W LED high bay light can provide sufficient illumination. If your factory ceiling height is 8-10m, then 200W will be the most suitable. Luminous efficacy of up to 190lm/W, it provides even higher luminous flux, making it sufficient even for lighting projects with 10-12m ceilings.

How should I choose between round or linear LED high bay lights?

If your project is standard open-plan structure, round high bay is preferable; for long, narrow buildings or high shelves​ warehouses, linear type will provide better illumination coverage and uniformity. We can also quickly suggest the best type based on your floor plan.

  • Round: Suitable for open spaces. It offers more beam angle options, concentrated light effect, and is suitable for areas requiring vertical lighting intensity.

What must the best high bay LED lights meet?

How many LED high bay lights do need for my venue?

Determining how many LED high bay lights a space requires is a complex question. It involves a multi-faceted calculation process. Different space types, sizes, ceiling heights, and practical needs all influence the final results. For example:

  • Warehouses and workshop have different illumination requirements;
  • 10-meter ceiling requires a different number of fixtures and wattage than15-meter ceiling.

Difference between LED high bay and low bay lights?

LED high bay and low bay lights are both industrial lighting, but their applications and design priorities differ. Low-bay lights are generally installed at heights of 12-20 feet and feature a wider beam angle. Another is installed at heights above 20 feet, has a variety of optical lenses or reflectors, and offer higher wattage and lumen output to ensure adequate illumination.
