Beam Angle
In various LED flood lighting, the most important yet most difficult to understand aspect is the beam angle. Because outdoor installation heights are highly variable and different areas need to be covered, LEDRHYTHM offers a variety of beam angles, from narrow to wide, ensuring consistently uniform light without dark spots or spillover.
Narrow beams (10°–45°) are typically used for high-mast flood lighting for long-distance illumination, such as in football stadiums, ports, and airports. They offer stronger light penetration and longer illumination distance, reducing the number of light poles required. Medium beam angles(60°–90°) balance coverage and illuminance and are most commonly used in outdoor area lighting. For applications with lower installation heights or where wider coverage is desired, wide-angle beams (90°–120°) provide uniform illuminance, reduce shadows, and improve overall visibility.

LED flood lights can also be used for some indoor industrial or sports lighting, so installation should not be limited to outdoor light poles. - Ground Mounting: Fixture is directly fixed to the ground, with the light-emitting surface facing upwards.
- Wall mounting: Fix the bracket to the wall, and adjust the angle to achieve side lighting.
- Building/Structure Mounting: Can be installed on eaves, beams, columns, or billboard structures.
- Pole Mounting: Most widely used, supports round poles, square poles, and horizontal arm light poles.
Replacing old lighting is also simple. Besides flexible installation, LEDRHYTHM flood lighting are also compatible with voltages ranging from commercial to industrial projects. Supporting voltage selection from 100V to 480V, installation can be done directly without changing the voltage system. And can also be integrated with batch control, dimming, and sensing systems.
If upgrading from metal halide or sodium lamp systems to LED flood lights, but the outdoor environment is complex, so extra care needs to be taken during the replacement process. Achieving the same or better illuminance is only the beginning.
