How bright are 200W LED high bay lights?
Depending on the luminous efficacy, taking current mainstream industrial-grade products as an example, the luminous efficacy is typically 130-190 lm/W. A 200W LED high bay light can usually output approximately 26,000–38,000 lumens, a range sufficient to cover most industrial and commercial applications with medium to high installation heights. However, we can generally achieve an output of over 30,000 lumens within 200W power consumption, with brightness approaching 500W MH/HPS, meaning energy savings of 60-70% compared to these. Many people don’t have a concrete understanding of the luminous flux of 30,000-38,000 lumens for a 200W LED high-bay light. It’s commonly installed at 8-12 meters, and still provide uniform and ample illuminance. The actual lighting brightness and effect also depend on the beam angle; the narrower the beam angle, the brighter it appears visually. Therefore, how bright it is depends not only on the total luminous flux of the luminaire but also on its performance in the actual space.
